Our Mission

The primary mission of the Cornell Ag & Food Tech Park in Geneva, N.Y., is to serve as a financially self-sustaining entity to foster the creation, retention, and expansion of agriculture, food, and biotechnology research enterprises for the benefit of both the state and local economies, and to strengthen the Experiment Station by fostering partnerships between the Station and firms seeking commercial applications of research discoveries related to agriculture, food sciences, and biotechnology.

Office Space

Available Space
Several offices are available for lease. Each office is 120 square feet (10' x 12').

Amenities
Collaboration with Cornell's world-class faculty in an Intellectual Property Advantage Zone that allows for commercialization and private ownership of intellectual property, the economic advantages of New York's Empire Zone program, assistance with identifying financing, potential investors and other business services, access to Cornell's library system, as well as recruitment opportunities.

Description
Each office comes equipped with a wrap-around desk, attached cabinets, desk chair and side chair. In addition, telephone and broadband internet services are also available for a small additional monthly fee. Personal mail space assigned to each office and use of the conference room included.

Lease Terms
Each office rents for $200 per month. Lease terms are available in one, two or three year increments.

Potential Uses
These offices are great locations to create a small business where tenants can enjoy professional surroundings, access to the knowledge base at the Agriculture Experiment Station and Cornell University, and have access to larger spaces designed for laboratory work or pilot plants for commercialization of new technologies.

Building Sites

There’s room to grow at the Technology Farm. Our 72-acre campus has shovel-ready sites available with existing streets, utilities, subdivision, parking and related approvals. There are currently multiple building sites available ranging in size from four to 20 acres. Established companies can choose to construct and own a building, or lease a build-to-suit facility.

As a tenant of the Technology Farm, you’ll join the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s chief scientific research agency. This organization is establishing a new Grape Genetics Research Center at The Technology Farm. The agency plans to break ground and begin construction of a 59,000 square foot research facility in the near future.
