Kathryn J. Boor, professor and chair of the Department of Food Science at Cornell, is the Ronald P. Lynch Dean of Agriculture and Life Sciences. As the chief academic and administrative officer for CALS, Boor has the primary responsibility for developing and implementing the strategic direction of the college. In addition, she shares responsibility for leadership and advancement of Cornell Cooperative Extension throughout New York state with the dean of Cornell's College of Human Ecology.
